About Us
We are a small Canadian family that have recently bought a vacation condo in Rossland because we fell in love with the area when we visited. We vacation at the condo a few times during the year, but while we are not using it we would like to invite you to stay at our charming getaway nestled in the beautiful southern Kootenay mountains so that you TOO may experience the paradise at Red Mountain Resort.
About Our Condo
Our unit is very spacious at 1050 sq ft and has just completed construction. It is fully furnished and equipped with beautiful furniture - it sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and dining area, laundry in-suite, stone gas fireplace, private deck, heated flooring, huge walk-in closets, equipped kitchen, heated ski storage and heated parking on the main floor, elevator access & a shared hot tub. It is located in Red Mountain Resort with ski in & in WALKING proximity to dining and pubs & in close driving proximity to Rossland (5 minutes by car or shuttle).
Master Bedroom Layout
Master bedroom has sliding patio doors that lead to the private deck, a queen bed, dresser, night stands etc., a large walk-in closet and full in-suite bathroom.
Second Bedroom Layout
Second bedroom has a wooden bunkbed (double bunk on the bottom and single on top), wooden dresser and closet. This bedroom does not have direct access but is close to the second full bathroom.
Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms in the unit - one in the master bedroom and one near the laundry room.
Living Room Layout
The living room contains stone gas fireplace, luxury microsuede queen sofa bed, 27 inch tv with home theater system, leather arm chairs and ottomans, large wooden and leather round coffee table/ottoman. It has a french door leading to the private deck.
Dining Room Layout
The dining area contains beautiful cherry wood dining table and four chairs as well as two bar stoors alongside the granite countertop. Full dinner ware service for 6.
Kitchen Layout
The unit has a fully equipped, granite countertop kitchen with seating at the bar - large appliances include a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Smaller appliances include blender, toaster, coffee machine. Cutlery, serving ware, dishes etc . The kitchen is fully equipped such that you wont need anything else while youre there!
Other Features and Ameneties
Heated floor throughout, laundry insuite, huge walk-in foyer closet, shared hottub just outside the door, private deck, thermostat controlled stone gas fireplace, heated locked ski storage area on the main floor, free parking for two cars (one heated), keypad entry, elevator access, condo is located at the base of the eaks with ski in and within close walking proximity to restaurants and within a short drive to the town of Rossland.
Our General Policies
Smoking is not permitted in the unit, no Pet policy, children must be accompanied by an adult when using the hottub, quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am daily and the occupancy maximum is six (6) people.
Housekeeping: Prior to your arrival, your rental unit will be cleaned and prepared with fresh linens and towels. Unlike a hotel, there is no daily linen/housekeeping service, however if you would like to pay for additional housekeeping services, we can arrange this with our housekeeper if you let us know in advance. Washers and dryers with laundry detergent are in located the unit.

How to get to our condo?
By Car
Red Mountain is located on Highway 3B in South Central British Columbia, 5 km from Rossland, BC and 16 km/10 miles north of the US border. It is an easy 7.5 hour drive from Vancouver and Calgary or a short 2.5 hours from Spokane, Washington. Up to date BC Ministry of Transportation Road Condition Reports can be found here.
From Spokane, Washington: From the airport, follow signs for eastbound Interstate 90. Exit the I-90 at exit #281 (US 395N – Division Street). Drive north along Division Street through Spokane. Continue to follow Hwy. 395 N through Chewelah and Colville. At Kettle Falls, turn right onto Hwy. 25 N. Continue along Hwy 25 through Northport to the Patterson BC customs office. In Canada, Hwy 25 becomes Hwy 22. Follow Hwy 22 until you reach Rossland or Red Mountain.
From Vancouver, British Columbia: Take TRANS CANADA 1 eastbound to Hope. At Hope, follow Hwy 3 through Princeton, Osoyoos, and Grand Forks. At Nancy Greene Lake, approximately 45 minutes past Grand Forks, turn right onto Hwy 3B. Follow Hwy 3B until you reach Red Mountain or Rossland.
From Calgary, Alberta: Go West on TRANS CANADA 1 through Banff to provincial Hwy 93. Go South on Hwy 93 through Cranbrook to provincial Hwy 3. Go Southwest on Hwy 3 through Creston to Hwy 3A. At Trail, turn left onto Hwy 22 to Rossland and Red Mountain.
By Air
Castlegar Municipal Airport, an easy 30 km from Red Mountain, is served by Air Canada with daily flights from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Calgary, Alberta. Spokane International Airport, a mere 2.5 hours south of Red Mountain offer daily nonstop flights from most U.S. destinations. Fully skierized vehicles are available from the Castlegar Municipal Airport.
